A mousetrap car able to stop at a given distance in order to land on a target
Designed using a 3D-printed threaded axle and runner assembly, it can stop precisely at a predetermined distance.
The mousetrap car came with a manual and a spreadsheet that allowed the user to calculate precisely how many turns of the wheels were needed in order for the car to stop at the given distance
From 8 feet away the car was able to stop with an average distance of fewer than 1.1 inches from both the centroid of the average landing point and the target.
